goodness. yesterday's combined cellgroup just had to be the best. what a blast!
we've got a theme named "da xiao tong chi".
woah. we've got loads of games eh
and joel thought of this wonderful food "BO BO CHA CHA"
!!!!!!
everybody was super on and excited please.
and practically stuffing everything they had into their mouths.
hahahahaha.
oh. and i love one of the games.
it's something like dressing somebody up into a chef.
hahahaha. don mess up with desmond people!
he'll tear u up into pieces with his wolverine-satay-stick claws please.
fuahahaa.
and guess how we got him to be our representative
"eh.. u look like a chef eh..!"
and before he could react. everybody was charging towards him with all the materials that we had.
man. we were only given 5 mins.!!
hahaha. imagine 9 people crowding around him and treating him like a manniquin.~

woos. and BO BO CHA CHA emerged overall champion~
all the way group 4.. there were desmond, evangeline, kristine, jesslyn, joel, eugene, jonathan and 3 peeps whose name i cant remember.
and each of us got a movie ticket. hehe


and the food.
wah. i think we've prepared food enough for a hundred people when there's only 70 people there.
haha. we've got food like beehoon, sausages, fries, potato wedges, macaroni, fried rice, fishball, crabmeat, and alot more. hahaha. super delicious ogay.

yuppy yuppy. thank god for such a wonderful day.

this is what i taken down. thought it would be inspiring.


everything that god does is based on a principle (a broad and basic truth.)
once we engage into these principles, our lives will become successful, productive and fulfilling.


relationship
-> network for our lives.

we cannot advance in life without relationship. the RIGHT relationship.
-> think about the quality of relationships vs quantity.


relating is an art. we are affected by the influence by the company which we keep.
therefore, intimacy of relationships must change so that we can open to new people who can (positively) influence our lives. hence, to readjust the space that our friends occupy in our life.



introduction -> acquaintance-> friendship -> intimacy

all relationships begin with an introduction. where we give limited information of ourselves to others.
from acquaintance ->friends: willing to share more information with the individual. more time spent together.
from friends to intimacy: covenant built. trust and exposure to the other person.

once we violate te pattern , we'll suffer the consequences.
eg: introduction to intimacy(haha. one night stand for specific example)
dangerous of not knowing exactly who you are in covenant with and vulnerable to !

THE PURPOSE OF THE PATTERN IS TO PREPARE AND PROTECT YOU!

if you sin against the whole pattern, it brings death to your relationship. how true.
-> sin when it is finished brings forth death.

hence, do not wait to repent and issue forgiveness, if u value the relationship.
error increases with distance. but in this case not according to miles but by the affection we show to the other party.
eg. when adam sinned, he sinned against the relationship with god. death in the relationship with god. and adam hid from god.
eden garden represented the place of intimacy of god. adam was placed out of the garden, he was separated from god.

so how did god restore the relationship with mankind?
god came in the body of christ to mankind to introduce himself to mankind.
man was not ready to know about god until he came to know us through the pattern.

knowledge is power . knowledge of truth is even greater. knowledge translates into authority.

FUN FACT
we tend to fail and think we need counselling when the fact is we're not trained in it.
what most people need is training and not counselling. counselling is only when people fail or cannot apply the things that they have learnt in their lives.

information -> mind ->beliefs-> self esteem -> action -> result-> habit -> success or failure.

human mind is a powerful computer.
our mind turns information into beliefs
beliefs communicate into our self esteem, which is converted to our actions, the way we behave.
and action produces certain results in life. these results become our habits which lead to our success or failure.

hence, if we cant to deal with success or failure, we need to get back to tackle with the type of information we receive.
romans 12:2 : be transformed in the renewing of our mind.
how??? by taking in new information.

every bad decision in life is made by
1) the type of information that we have at that point of time
2) what we were thinking at that moment.
eg. whenever we done sth wrong. we would say " if only i did it this way... if only....."
eg. adam was told that the fruit of good to be eaten(information)and this information ultimately led to his failure!

however, we can have good information but a negative mind!hence, good information is being rejected.!

yeap. this is basically the mainpoints only! hahaha
and i have another sermon which i plan to post . well. maybe another day.
gosh. i have to prepare egg toast on sat. say grace a million and one times please.

hellos my dear friends.
this week's extremely busy with tests and assignments.
busy busy.
had chem spa trial and math lecture test today.
the math test totally rocked.
i think i'll have enough eggs to distribute to people in south africa.
whatever.

there's quite some interesting stuff happening these two days though.
1. it was so cold yesterday that hana said," the legs on my hair are standing!"
the whole load of us just burst out. crap.
oh.. what bout "thank you dinner for uncle." ?
hana rocks.
2. huitian yukai hana and i were waiting for our waffles.
and we ordered PEANUT BUTTER WAFFLE.
hahaha. of course. that's not the main point.
hanaBANANA was next in the queue and the uncle squieked in exceptionally high pitch "MINAH WAFFLE!" fuahaha.
haha. oh. minah means malay ah lian.
3. my sis was calling her friend and she didnt know the friend's mom was on the line.
my sis still went off rantling "eh. MA DARM. I TELL U AR.." and then there was silence for awhile. hahahahha. her mom was like. "oh. she's bathing." ahahha.. big joke.
4. my class has a new math teacher and he totally rock.
i don't feel like elaborating. he's just funny lar. haha .

went to watch with chuilaam. desmond and clarence. haahha.
i could have laughed my lungs out seriously.
there were some scenes that's very touching.
totally encapsulated the importance of family.
well it may sound like a cliche whenever someone talks about the importance of putting family ahead of work. but how many people actually fulfills it?
i doubt there'll be many.

so yea. go and watch the movie. though it's abit censored.
y singapore emphasizes freedom of speech yet still censor such things. hahahaa..
that's another question to ponder.

AND......
we had national day celebration today!!!!!!!!!
gosh. cell was totally awesome.
praise and worship the best so far
the food we brought was wayYYYY cool
there's new york pizza, omelette, beehoon, CURRY, cakes and sandwiches.
and that's not all!
haha. food fiesta man!
haha. we played number game which fernandes named it PIAK PIAK. T_T
to top it off, photo taking was great.
everybody super on.
ahahaha. it's probably the best national day i ever had.

man. we shoud have gone to watch the fireworks.
